Respect, Discipline, Responsibility. BJJ School proudly presents “Future Champions International”
More then 10 years ago, in Rio de Janeiro, Master Leao Teixeira initiated the project “Futuros Campeoes”. Partnering with social workers from a slum local to his school, he was able to sponsor 60 kids, giving them an alternative to the poverty-drug-crime lifestyle.
The project has now positively influenced the lives of many youngsters and has created many national and international BJJ champions.
In order to qualify, students must also complete their formal education and may eventually earn the opportunity to become a BJJ teacher and Future Champions Leader.
We are now replicating the project in the UK with “Future Champions International”. Based on the initiatives of the Brazilian project we have expanded the project to include activities in many different areas.
